UNIT 2.8

It's called unit 2.8 as that's about the average of the numbers and amounts of parts off the units that are involved in it. It has the chest of unit 1/2 (included in the unit 5 box as unit 5 uses the lower torso segments of the unit 1) and the back mounting for the wings of unit 5 as well as a scratch built head a la unit 1
My friend matt said he'd like one of the bigger wingy variety of gundam or
such for his birthday so I thought long and hard about which of my mechs I could
give away. I'm to attached to the others so I'll build him eva 05 only I'll
modify it even madder than I was going to. Originally crazy probe said in his
site
that he put gerbera tetras head on unit 5 (OK now I remember why I have that
old model of gerbera tetra) but I didn't think it would work so one day when
I was looking at a unit 1 on the net I was struck by an idea (no I wasn't going
to use unit ones head) I saw how unit 1's head was like a human head mounted
between the shoulders and with tendon like structure holding it up so I thought
I would make unit 5 humanoid. Put in some exposed pipe and cable "tendons"
and build a unit one esq head that would go with the rest of the mech.
