THE
TRIO
The name (the trio) comes from The good the bad and the ugly sound track from where there's the three way stand off at the end (the good the bad and the ugly is a really cool movie). When I was on holidays I bought these three palm top gundams: Dom, turn A and ZZ. These palm top kits are really cheap, fun and quick to build, not to mention they come with some candy (they take about one day with modifications and painting), looks like I may become addicted to this series of models, there's only one problem I need to find a supplier.
The
good. (I think I'm taking the good the bad and the ugly thing a bit far)MSZ-010 ZZ (double zeta) my favorite of the trio, this one comes with two and 1/2 sprues of parts. I've covered or filled all the holes in this to see how good I could make one of these look. I also cut off the core boosters engine nozzles (they were really lame) and made new ones from nose cones cut off hellers ariene 5 (1/125 scale).
The
bad WD-M01 Turn A gundam, now staring in the how to build models section. I thought it would be a good idea to use this easy kit for that, so I took photos during all building stages. On this one I covered over the holes in the fore arms so it would look better. There is a fair bit of painting to be done on this one because of all the panel lines but the end result is pretty good.

the ugly
MS-09 "DOM" I started off by building the dom while I was on
holidays (with the equipment I'd brought along for the wing zero and serpent).
He's basically as per the instructions with the addition of some glue,
thought I didn't like the purple colour, so I used olive drab instead.
